Thinking aloud..

Do you ever wonder if bad things happen just to make you remember that right now is important and that we weren't really appreciating what we had? Well today I do wonder this. And to me this is very much true. Whenever something bad happens it makes you realize how lucky you were before. And being in the very moment of this bad thing is making you live in the now. You now appreciate what you have and wish you hadn't taken it for granted. Doesn't that make you feel like it's not such a bad thing after all?

Being in the now.

We all need to remember one of the most important things in life. To breathe.


This is why I speak so highly of yoga. Yoga teaches you that if you don't breathe, you can't do it. But that thru breathing you can accomplish much more than you thought you were capable of.

Whenever I do yoga I feel free. Even the days following I feel invigorated, and in control of my life. Amazing how such a simple thing can bring you to your roots, and help you see life in a different perspective.

Just try it, next time you feel angry, or frazzled I urge you to breathe, it will change the outcome, I promise.

This weekend..

I plan on making more progress. I have 3 trash bags full, 2 little tvs, 2 chairs, one box of toys, one box of old dishes (that will go to a friend who needs them), an old toaster, and 3 small boxes of christmas stuff that will never be used. It is all going to the goodwill. This will free some space, as well as allow me to find more that can go. I have a baby coming real soon, and there is still too much stuff hanging around!
